Language lessons can be really fucking boring. Oops, we said it. Teens don't talk like a textbook, so why should language lessons sound like them? Teens swear, banter, use slang. So Duolingo took how teens around the world really talk and put it on the app. We're giving teens the language lessons they actually want to learn.
